Uali present at the 2026 conference: technological innovation making an impact in Vaca Muerta
On Friday, 26 June, the UCES Auditorium became the epicentre of debate regarding the country's productive and technological future. Within the framework of the 2026 Conference on Innovation and Solidarity, organised by the Rotary Club de Buenos Aires, prominent industry leaders gathered to address how new digital tools are transforming critical processes and communities. In this space of convergence, Uali established its institutional and technical presence through the participation of Amelia Bálsamo in the opening panel entitled "Innovation in the realm of Vaca Muerta".
The role of technology in the energy basin
The panel, which focused on highlighting concrete projects delivering true transformation to one of the world's most important unconventional resource reserves, served to showcase how asset digitalisation is redefining field operations. During the meeting, we debated the importance of providing a more conscious and sustainable perspective in an environment where, decades ago, productivity projections were highly uncertain.
As mentioned during the panel, Vaca Muerta was a region that remained inactive for many years due to the absence of technology capable of extracting unconventional oil. Today, with the necessary technology in the hands of the industry, the challenge is to focus on making this innovation as efficient as possible, understanding the strict demands that environmental care requires.

In this regard, Uali’s presentation stood out by demonstrating how the combination of automatic remote robotics and applied artificial intelligence provides the clarity that operators demand to optimise efficiency and reduce logistical and human risks on the ground.
Collaborative horizons
Before an audience composed of professionals, academics, and sector leaders, visions and success stories spanning various dimensions were shared. These included Tecpetrol’s outstanding solution to grant a second life to a major energy source while reducing CO2 emissions, and the excellent ANTU Solar Project initiative, which installs solar panels to generate renewable energy, supporting nearby communities in the highest productivity zones.
