Advances in Uali’s platform: From data collection to Intelligent decision-making

25·02·2026·Technology

In an industry where every second counts and every decision has operational impact, digital transformation is no longer a promise — it has become an essential operational tool. Uali’s management platform, evolved from an initial data management phase, is now moving decisively towards what is known today as intelligent decision-making, within a context that is both operationally demanding and environmentally responsible.

Advances in Uali’s platform: From data collection to Intelligent decision-making

A platform that interprets and delivers insight

One of the platform’s key advancements is its ability to go beyond simple data visualisation. It is no longer just about viewing images or sensor tables — it is about transforming data into decisions. The platform integrates robotics, artificial intelligence and advanced visualisation to deliver processed, contextualised information that is ready for action.

Achieving the platform’s current level of precision was far from straightforward. Flight hours and the continuous training of our artificial intelligence (AI) models have been fundamental in shaping our technology. Together with our development team, we work constantly not only to improve system performance but also to tailor and customise the platform according to each client’s operational requirements.

Intelligent coverage through automated inspections

Using predefined coordinates and programmed actions (waypoints), each mission is designed to capture precisely what matters most for the operation. The integration of drones and advanced waypoint navigation systems has elevated intelligent monitoring to a new level.

This approach not only accelerates inspection processes but also makes them safer and more repeatable. Each flight forms part of a continuous information generation flow that feeds the platform, reducing time spent in the field, lowering operational costs and minimising the environmental impact associated with unnecessary travel.

One of the major challenges in complex energy operations has been integrating information from multiple sources. To address this, we have worked extensively to ensure that our platform integrates seamlessly with existing enterprise systems, including environments such as SAP. As a result, work orders can be automatically generated once our AI algorithms detect a fault or anomaly.

This creates a more intuitive user experience, with automated filters and reports that allow operational and decision-making teams to access exactly what they need — without wasting time or resources interpreting redundant information.

A continuous path towards greater clarity and automation

Planned advancements reflect a clear direction: moving towards a platform that not only delivers data but orchestrates information flows that guide operations in a more automated and preventive manner. Uali continues to develop new statistical modules, customised filters and automated reporting features to further enhance the platform’s added value.

This development responds to a broader vision — facilitating the transition from a reactive perspective to a truly anticipatory operational model, where teams can detect deviations even before they materialise into major issues.

The progress of our platform is closely aligned with the operational realities of the energy sector. It directly connects with the discussions we have been sharing: from the importance of rapid, detailed inspections to improve decision-making, to the understanding that technology must translate into prevention, operational continuity and tangible efficiency.

At Uali, we work to make prevention part of everyday operations — transforming data into decisions and enabling energy companies to anticipate the challenges ahead. Discover more about how we support the evolution of intelligent energy operations.
