Within the framework of our commitment to transparency and accountability, at Uali we are committed to mitigating climate change, reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and moving forward in a sustainable way in terms of social impact. , environmental and governance. Being a fundamental pillar of our mission and our daily operations, we present our Carbon Footprint Report.

Uali's Commitment to Climate Change Mitigation and GHG Emissions Reduction

Uali's sustainability area promotes and promotes good environmental practices so that the company's collaborators incorporate and generate triple impact results - environmental, social and economic - both in physical and virtual offices, as well as in any area. of your daily life. Thus, this year we are pleased to present our 2023 Carbon Footprint Report, prepared in May 2024, this report being an important step in our strategy to confront climate change.

Our Carbon Footprint 2023

We calculated our Corporate Carbon Footprint using the DENDRO environmental calculation platform, which follows the guidelines and quantification principles of the GHG Protocol. This tool has allowed us to carry out a precise and detailed analysis of our emissions, allowing us to make informed and effective decisions for our mitigation strategy.

Uali as Climatech

At Uali we are passionately dedicated to decarbonizing the energy industry. We offer specialized services that allow us to quantify the environmental impact of energy operations, encouraging efficiency and promoting sustainable practices. Our goal is to facilitate a cleaner, faster and safer energy transition for an environmentally sustainable future.

That is why our positioning as a Climatech company drives us to develop technologies specifically designed to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and address the challenges of global warming. These technologies are grouped into three different categories:

1. Technologies for Decarbonization: These innovations focus on transforming both our lifestyle and production processes, significantly reducing GHG emissions. This involves adopting practices and technologies that minimize our carbon footprint in daily activities and industrial production.

2. Technologies for Adaptation: These types of technologies are designed to help us adapt to the effects of climate change. This can include early warning systems for extreme weather events, climate-resilient infrastructure, and sustainable agricultural practices that are more resilient in the face of adverse weather conditions.

**3. Technologies for Understanding and Solution: **These technologies focus on improving our understanding of climate and the problems related to climate change. This involves advanced climate monitoring and modeling tools, as well as innovative solutions to address environmental challenges, such as smart water management and ecosystem conservation.

Our objectives for mitigating GHG emissions are clear:

  • Identify: The main sources of GHG emissions within our operations.
  • ✅** Implement:** Effective actions to reduce and offset our emissions, always seeking maximum efficiency.
  • Optimize: Our work processes to save costs and improve our efficiency, thus contributing to a more sustainable operation.

Every year we strive to reduce our carbon footprint a little more by being firmly committed to social responsibility and sustainability. In 2024, we will continue to work hard to offset the environmental impact of our operations.

“We are committed to being the strategic partner of our clients on their path towards the energy transition.” Ian Bogado - CEO Uali
